Mode of production
The production method of color steel plate is divided into plastic film laminating method and organic coating liquid roll coating method according to the production process. The coated plate produced by roll coating method accounts for 90% of the total output. Typical roller coating production line is two coating two drying type, that is, two coating two curing. For high-grade coating products with excellent weathering resistance, it is also useful for three coating three drying, four coating four drying.
Because of the different use and environmental conditions of color coated steel plate, there are many factors affecting its service life. According to the use function, the service life of color coated steel plate can be divided into the following types:
(1) Decorative service life, refers to the surface of color steel plate main fading, powder, cracking, coating local fall off and other defects. It has an impact on the image and aesthetics of the building, but has not reached the extent of loss of protective effect of the coating.
(2) The service life of the coating renovation refers to the time when most of the defects such as delamination and rust appear on the surface of the color steel plate, resulting in further corrosion of the substrate.
(3) limit service life, refers to the long-term use of color steel plate without revision, until serious corrosion, can no longer be used.
According to the common kinds of color plate and the normal use of the environment, the service life of colored coating steel plate in construction can be roughly:
Decorative service life: 8 ~ 12 years;
Renovation service life: 12 ~ 20 years;
Limit service life: more than 20 years.
