Cold rolled steel

Cold-rolled steel is also part of our product portfolio. Cold rolled steel is ideal for cold forming. This product group specifies grades DC01 to DC07, DC01EK to DC06EK, DC03ED to DC06ED, and S215G to S325G. Grades are classified according to the maximum allowable yield strength and can be subdivided as follows.

DC01 - This grade can be used for simple forming work, such as using bending, embossing, hemming and stretching.

DC03 - This grade is suitable for forming requirements such as deep drawing and difficult profiles.

DC04 - This quality is suitable for high deformation requirements.

DC05 - This thermoforming grade is suitable for higher molding requirements.

DC06 - This special deep drawing quality is suitable for the highest deformation requirements.

DC07 - This ultra deep stamping quality is suitable for extreme deformation requirements.

Enamel grade

Steel grades DC01EK, DC04EK and DC06EK are suitable for conventional single or double enamel.

Steel grades DC06ED, DE04ED and DC06ED are suitable for direct enamelling as well as for enamelling according to the double/single firing method and for special applications of double enamelling for low deformation enamelling.

Surface type

Surface A

Allow bugs such as pores, small grooves, small warts, slight scratches and slight discoloration that do not affect the ability to reshape and attach the surface coating.

B-side

The better side must be free of defects so that the uniform appearance of the quality finish or electrolytic coating is not compromised. The other side must meet at least the requirements of surface type A.

Surface finish

The surface finish can be particularly smooth, dull, or rough.

Cold-rolled microalloyed steel

Cold-rolled microalloyed steels are part of our portfolio and are suitable for cold forming. The product group is designated as HC180Y/B, HC220Y/I/B, HC260Y/I/B/LA, HC300I/B/LA, HC340LA, HC380LA, HC420LA, HC460LA and HC500LA. Microalloyed steels undergo grain refinement and precipitation hardening. Careful use of alloy materials ensures high mechanical strength and good weldability.

Carbon manganese steel

Carbon manganese steel combines high strength with excellent formability and is suitable for almost all difficult cold forming applications.

High Strength IF Steel (Y)

High-strength IF steels, like soft IF steels, have an extremely low carbon content and are stabilized by titanium and/or niobium.

Bake hardening steel

Baked hardened steel reaches its strength in special paint furnaces for the automotive industry. As a result, the product is also easy to shape and allows for a sturdier final product.

Phosphorus alloy steel

Due to the solid solution hardening of phosphorus, these steels have high mechanical strength and are ideal for cold forming. Phosphorus alloy steels are particularly used in the manufacture of body panels and structural components because of their impact resistance and fatigue resistance

Cold-rolled polyphase steel

In addition, cold-rolled polyphase steels are part of our product portfolio. DP steel, TRIP steel, CP steel and MP steel are integrated in this region. In some applications, these steels can reduce weight. Steel grades are listed in ascending order of tensile strength value.

DP Steel "X"

Two-phase steels have a ferrite matrix and a closed martensite or bainite phase structure. Forming gives DP steel excellent strength. This characteristic not only ensures uniform forming and excellent thermoformability, but also the value of the prefabricated member is significantly higher than that of the inserted plate. This is especially true for yield points.

Stroke steel "T"

TRIP steel, also known as RA steel (residual austenite), is distinguished by a very favorable combination of strength and ductility of its microstructure compared to other steels. This steel is particularly suitable for the production of structural components. The structure consists of a ferrite matrix with an island of hard bainite phase and residual austenite. The transformation of austenite to martensite during deformation, TRIP effect or phase change induced plasticity ensures very high elasticity of the material. This TRIP effect achieves a perfect balance of strength and ductility.

CP Steel "C"

Complex phase steel or complex phase steel abbreviated CP, like three-phase steel and duplex steel, belongs to the AHSS steel (Advanced High strength steel) group. This includes martensite and/or bainite in the basic structure of ferrite and/or solidified ferrite. This microstructure is conducive to high yield strength and relatively good elongation. Therefore, steel is particularly suitable for bending and edging.
