The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) voted to issue the first affirmative anti-dumping sunset review determination of industrial injury for non-oriented electrical steel imported from China, Germany, Japan, Korea, Sweden, and Taiwan, and the first countervailing determination for non-oriented electrical steel imported from China and Taiwan. Sunset Review Affirmative Industrial Injury Final Determination: It was determined that if the existing anti-dumping and countervailing measures were eliminated, the substantial injury to the U.S. domestic industry caused by the imports of the products in question would likely continue or recur within a reasonably foreseeable period. According to the final ruling, the existing anti-dumping and countervailing measures, in this case, continue to be effective.
