The main goal of the grinding part is to remove the solder joints and achieve the workpiece with a surface roughness of R10um to prepare for the light. The grinding process can be divided into three steps: rough grinding, semi-fine grinding and fine grinding. Rough grinding uses 600# sand belt to grind the workpiece on three sides round trip, the purpose is to remove the solder joints left by the workpiece welding, as well as the bruises in the previous step, to achieve the preliminary molding of the welding seam, and the horizontal plane and vertical plane are basically no large scratches and no bruises. After this step, the surface roughness of the workpiece should be able to reach R0.8mm. Pay attention to the inclination Angle of the belt sander and control the pressure of the belt sander on the workpiece during the polishing process. Generally speaking, it is more moderate to form a straight line with the thrown surface!

Semi-fine grinding the use of 800# sand belt in accordance with the previous round trip grinding of the workpiece in the three sides of the grinding part, mainly to correct the joint of the previous process and further fine grinding of the impression generated after rough grinding, the impression left by the previous process to grind repeatedly, to achieve no scratch on the surface of the workpiece, basically brightens. The surface roughness of this process should be able to reach R0.4mm(be careful not to produce new scratches and bruises in this process, because such defects cannot be repaired in the following process).

The use of 1000# sand belt in fine grinding is mainly to modify the grinding of fine lines that appear in the previous step, and the grinding method is the same as above. The goal of this process is that the joint between the grinding part and the ungrinding part of the workpiece basically disappears, and the surface of the workpiece is further bright. The workpiece after grinding through this process should be basically close to the mirror effect, and the surface roughness of the workpiece should be able to reach R0.1mm.

In general, 600# sand belt can be polishing 1500mm long workpiece 6-8, 800# sand belt can be polishing workpiece 4-6, 1000# sand belt can be polishing workpiece 1-2, the specific situation also depends on the workpiece welding solder joints, polishing pressure and grinding methods have a great relationship. In addition, it should be noted that the replacement of the sand belt must ensure that the sand belt can rotate smoothly on the sponge wheel to achieve the purpose of uniform grinding of the workpiece.

The main purpose of the light part is to make the stainless steel polished in front of the mirror light, to achieve the purpose of the mirror. Generally speaking, there are two processes: waxing and polishing; Two motors, two wool wheels, big green wax, cloth. The specific content is as follows:

1. Visually inspect the welding parts entered into this process in the previous step, and check whether there are problems that can not be repaired in the light stage during various polishing stages such as leakage polishing to 1000#, incomplete polishing of all solder joints, coarse polishing marks, serious damage to protective film, excessive grinding, too large rounded corners, serious grinding at both ends, uneven grinding and different depths in some places, etc. If there is such a problem, it is necessary to return to the grinding or repair (in this process, it is not possible to repair bumps, bruises, and large scratches during the grinding, but it is possible to repair very small fine lines). But it takes a lot of work.

2. the mirror using high-speed motor to drive the wool wheel (available on the market), with the big green wax to imitate the previous polishing method for mirror polishing, the main purpose of this process is to polish the workpiece after polishing the previous several processes, rather than further grinding. Be careful not to rub the polishing wax onto the covering film on the surface of the workpiece during this step, and be careful not to damage the covering film.

3. polishing this process is the last process of mirror polishing, with a clean cotton wheel after the mirror surface friction, the workpiece after the completion of all previous processes clean, polish. The goal of this process is to make the surface of the workpiece can not be distinguished by welding marks, and the waxed polishing of the workpiece, the brightness reaches a high mirror reflection of 8k, and the part of the workpiece that has been thrown and the part that has not been thrown can hardly be distinguished. Achieve full mirror effect.
